Du ska itte trø i graset
Spede spira lyt få stå
Do not tread on the grass
Let the tender sprout be
Mållaust liv har og ei mening
du lyt sjå og tenkje på
Life without ability to speak has a purpose
you should see and consider
På Guds jord og i hass hage
er du sjølv et lite strå.
On Gods earth and in his garden
You are your self a tiny straw.
Dikt/poem av
Einar SkjæråsenPlease excuse my own translation - it is difficult to translate one of Norways most famous poets!

Trevlig helg!
VAKKERT!!!!!! :)))

Besides the flowers of spring my next favorite thing that spring brings with it is the greenery of nature. Great series. Love it

I can't help loving the shot of the single blade of leave in focus! Awesome!
Vakkert!

Just as I love Duerer's study of a sod of meadow, I love your studies of grass. You did well with the translation of the poem, the sense certainly came across.
It is good to realise that we are just as transient as the grass, and that the smallest pebble was here many thousands of years before us and will remain when we are long gone.
Mye fine bilder og vakre ord..:-)
Very nice pics, thanks for sharing
Beautiful as alwasy!
Lovely photos so soft but the color is intense, and then you little flower nestled in those blades, beautiful.
Nothing in nature is simple, thanks for this creative idea.
Ha en fin uke
Hartmut
I love your macros, Valkyrien!
Congratulations for been a new member of TF! You deserve!
Have a nice week!
Stunning details! Really incredible. I was in Norway with a country music entertainer a few years back and had a wonderful time. I remember a very old church, one of the oldest in the world they say, that we visited in some small town on the coast.
Amazing photos and now I have a new poet to research!
WOW! Fabulous!
Wonderful visualization of the poem! I love it.
Virkelig spennende vinklinger på bildene dine.
btw. Sorry I haven't commented very much in the past.
Simply to much work. (8 am until midnight)
