These are great. I've never seen water lilies like this!
A truly beautiful flowers, even though it is already dead!

Beautiful pictures, Valkyrien. In the Netherlands we make a differense between the waterlilly (Nymphaea)and a yellow waterlilly (Nuphar lutea). We would call the one at your pictures yellow waterlilly. In Dutch: gele plomp. :-)

Great pictures and very interesting photography..Thank you for your visit and comment.
By your pictures today, you look to be drowning in your vacation shots...only 1,000? I took 300 in one day alone. Norwayis so very beautiful, i look forward to the glories you will show us.With you featuring my favourite flower on your header told me we had things in common even when I knew nothing else about you except for the beauty of your photographs.Although it is traumatic to loose everything in a fire, it is cleansing as well and teaches us that ultimately we have to leave it all behind anyway. Somehow this makes it easier to go when we get the callI love how you have transformed the lilies into Juliet slowly sinking into a drowning dream or a message in a bottle.
Your first picture is a work of art. I've seem many water lilies, but never any as interesting as these.
Fine bilder. Har prøvd å fange vanliljer i sommer uten å lykkes
