These are great. I've never seen water lilies like this!

PS Takk for kommentaren!

Beautiful pictures, Valkyrien.
In the Netherlands we make a differense between the waterlilly (Nymphaea)and a yellow waterlilly (Nuphar lutea). We would call the one at your pictures yellow waterlilly. In Dutch: gele plomp. :-)

By your pictures today, you look to be drowning in your vacation shots...only 1,000? I took 300 in one day alone. Norwayis so very beautiful, i look forward to the glories you will show us.

With you featuring my favourite flower on your header told me we had things in common even when I knew nothing else about you except for the beauty of your photographs.
Although it is traumatic to loose everything in a fire, it is cleansing as well and teaches us that ultimately we have to leave it all behind anyway. Somehow this makes it easier to go when we get the call

I love how you have transformed the lilies into Juliet slowly sinking into a drowning dream or a message in a bottle.

Your first picture is a work of art. I've seem many water lilies, but never any as interesting as these.
