Watery Wednesday in Våler/Solør!

Photobucket

My entry this week is photos from a "wannabe" corn field! The photos are taken during Easter - and the water from the snow melting is covering the fields.

Some trees are also struggling - and I can assure you: so did the roads!

Visit Watery Wednesday hosted by 2sweetnsaxy - but don't forget good footweare!

Oh, these three pictures are sooo beautiful. The trees - I hope - are used to some flooding - they must get it more often?

Anonym sa...

Very artistic shots. I love the reflection on the water and the line of trees.

Bim: Yes, I believe they are used to flooding. The whole area is used to flooding, since it is close to Norway's biggest river, Glomma. But these shots are from snowmelting on the ground.

Wow, these are really beautiful! Each one has something beautiful about it. Can't believe that's a corn field.

You've captured the sky, water and reflections so well in these photos! Very nice, Valkrien!

Wonderful photos, love the reflections in the water, and the colors. Stunningingly beautiful!

The flooding should make the ground good and soft for the roots to get into when the corn comes up. Probably bring lots of nutrients with it as well. And of course, the water that all plants need!

Love the first photo especially.

Wow! You have such great views to photograph! Sometimes I miss snow, but then the moment passes and photos are enough!

By the look of it the corn has to wait a little bit. The pictures express well the feeling of wet and cold and waiting for the warm springtime.

Three excellent shots! The warm sky is a perfect companion for the concept of melting snow.

What beautiful photos. It looks so cold, I just can't imagine how cold it must get in the middle of winter there. Brrrrrrrrr

Rune: Det var en magisk dag! Jeg så det tidlig på dagen - og når solnedgangen nærmet seg, da ble det biltur! Den solnedgangen over de jordene SKULLE jeg ha med meg! :)

The bare trees are so photogenic. Soon, they will be hiding behind the cloak of leaves.

Lovely shots! The colors are beautiful, they could be postcards. Hard to believe there is still so much water and ice after "winter" has gone by.

Det är så himla fint med ljuset som solen ger vid ned och upp gång.
Sedan har du lyckats väldigt bra med att få rätt "bakgrund"

Oh, dear, has it really been so long since I have visited you! I hate being sick, except for the getting better part.
I love the middle photo - with the trees silhouetted against the pink of the sky, and then the pink in the water on the ground!!
