Porselensblomst - Hoya
I doscovered something very nice today! My Hoya hasn't carried any flowers for almost 5 years, and now it is in bloom with 7 of these small buoquets ! It will take a while before they pop out, but when that happens - some photos will surely arrive on my blog!

Thank you for your wonderful comments! I also enjoy myself on your blog :). Your photos are wonderful. I never have seen a hoya before. They already seem so lovely. I'm curious about their look in full blossom. Can you give me some tips on macro shots. Do you near the camera or zoom in? Thank you.
Interesting plant. I've never heard of it before, so I'm looking forward to seeing more shots of the progress it makes. I have a wisteria in my yard that bloomed for the first time in ten years. I don't know what I did or didn't do to finally make it decide to showcase some flowers!! Maybe it's just a "late bloomer". Great photos as usual. I love your header shot, too.
Pene bilder.
Ah! Lucky you, Valkyrien! They don't bloom easily so you must have done something the plant likes. ;-)
That must've been quite the happy discovery. I'll be looking for those photos in the future!
I just noticed that you've got me on your blogroll. How long have I been up there? I'm so slow noticing these things sometimes. Thanks for adding me! And I will be returning the favor as I do love your photos.
what a great camera...its function like microscope, but it is a nice photo indeed.
Thank you for your tips on macro shots. I have been trying to implement them today :). Have a great day.
Beautiful macro of your hoya! I don't know this flower, but maybe I recognize it's blossoms!
Seems that spring has arrived?
Happy weekend! :)
Awesome macro shot! The Hoya is so beautiful..
It's a pleasant surprise to see you're not only making beautiful pictures of the sky, but wonderful macroshots too.
It's always great too discover such a little spider or a small insect in a flower.
Det är fantastiska bilder du tar.
Jag blir alldeles hänförd!
Trevlig söndag!
Excellent photos. Really nicely done
Thank you for sharing, great photoblog :)
Porslinsblomman är speciell på det viset. Fantastiskt vackre bilder av blomman.
Gorgeous! I really like the way you captured the light, especially in the last one. Each ball looks like it's got a halo around it.
Very compliment !
Beautiful flowers shot :-)
My hoya has been in a sulk for a long time, too, so I repotted it, and maybe it will be happier now.
It has been way too long since I have seen the blossoms, and I never paid attention to the buds when I had them! Thank you so much for the heads up about the blossoms to come! May I print off a couple of those, to take to a friend in a seniors' residence? We have spoken of the hoya she used to have, many years ago. She turned 100 last November.
