Holmenkollen Park Hotell Rica is beautifully situated 350 meters above Oslo city, and has a fantastic view over the city and fjord. The architecture of the oldest part of the building is called Dragon style. It was build in 1894 and the architecture is well worth seeing. That was worth seeing! Very impressive and swanky hotel. I have been to Holmenkollen but i don´t remember that. Dragon style, now I know more, thanks!

Wow! Amazing place. I don't think my budget would allow me to stay there, so thanks for taking me there on the cheap! Excellent shots...

Beautiful shots! I love the one with the wind chimes. What focal length is that taken at? It looks to be wide angle as the chimes appear to be going off in all sorts of directions.

EG CameraGirl sa...

It's a majestic building. I bet it's beautiful lit up at night too.

I am speechless! These are wonderful shots. I like best the lobby with its chimes.

I just love that bottom photo. Since joining the Shadow Shot meme at Hey Harriet's blog, I see shadows so differently. This is a spectacular shot and the shadows really make it. What exciting lighting. And thanks for visiting.

Interesting to see the inside of the hotel, having only seen the outside before on our visit to Oslo.
