Watery Wednesday

My entry this week is some shots I took last summer. Me and my boyfriend went to the place where I was born, on the westcoast of Norway. We went by car, and the first shot is from the tour through Romsdalen down to a city called Åndalsnes. Driving through the vally is a spectactular experience. The road is only a small narrow line with enormous mountains on both sides. It is a long drive and we stopped many places taking pictures of the beautiful scenery. As you can see, I was lucky, catching the train across an old bridge!

The next photo is from the boat on the way to "my" island!

I love the ripples in the water, but I'm really glad the first shot was enlargeable. That trestle is awesome! And the color of the river is spectacular too.

Great stuff!

Gorgeous scenery, and I love that old stone bridge. I would like to visit Norway some day.

Beautiful places and photos! Love them both, the first one deserves to be in Norway's tourism brochure. Would love to see this place when we visit our friends over there at Norway next year.

Thanks for dropping by my site earlier.

Ja Norges kust är väldigt vacker. Jag skulle vilja åka med Hurtigrutten längs Norges kust.

Fantastiskt.

Ha en bra dag

Beautiful photos! The rock bridge is lovely and I like how you composed the photo to make the eye travel to it. Oops! Didn't see the train until you mentioned it- it's hiding behind a tree!
Re: the previous post- I love the macro photo of the bud coming out. Everything here is starting to bud out and it is so nice to see.
Great shots!
