Nydelig bilde av blomsten! :)
Riktig vakkert.
Det røde kan vel kanskje være en slags frukt eller ett bær?
Det finnes jo fikenkaktuser osv.

PS after considerably researching, I now have the answers to your question about my flower for today. Check it out on my page. Thanks.

I think that white flower is just ethereal - I think that is the word I want. What I mean is that it looks almost too fragile to be real!!

Thank you Valkyrien for you lovely comments on my blog today. The parrot is called a Rainbow Lorikeet and we have many of them coming into the garden to eat the nectar of the native plants.

Hi! Really surprised you have cactus in Norway! Greetings from Argentina.

EG CameraGirl sa...

Are these cacti indoors? Lovely shots.

Mojo sa...

They look a little like Prickly Pear cactus, though I'm not nearly familiar enough with them to say that for sure. I don't recall ever seeing the bloom on one before, and I'm pretty sure if I'd see it and it looked like this I'd remember.

Gorgeous!

VALKYRIEN sa...

I have no idea what the name is on the cactus! Only that it has very little dirt to live in - and has lots of flowers every spring! It is my boyfriends.......I kill cactus, I always give them too much water!

Mariz sa...

I love that first photo, that flower is beautiful.

Thanks for the visit and enjoy your day!

Excellent capture. Truly wonderful photography. I think there are not many flowers more beautiful than cactus flowers, but you have made them more than beautiful; they are magical.

Tarolino sa...

å det är det som POTD betyder. Jag undrade nog vad jag blivit gratulerad för av ett kommentörer.
Måste försöka hålla mig bättre upprättad i framtiden. GRATTIS bara. Välförtjänt.

Really lovely, the cactus blossom. The picture gives me joy.

The red thing is the fruit of the cactus. The birds and critters eat them.
