SkyWatch
My entry this week is from a famous road on the westcoast of Norway, called "Trollstigen". The road was opened in 1936 by King Haakon 7. It is a very narrow road starting in the valley Isterdalen to the top of the mountain Stigrøra. The place is located in Møre/Romsdalen.
Driving this road is very exciting. The view is spectacular - and the narrow road curving up to the top makes it difficult to pass another car coming down! I know people who never drive this way, they simply do not dare! But me? I thought it was an experience of a lifetime!
If you want to, you can see more of the road itself by clicking here. I recommend enlarging the photos for better view. All pics are taken from the car, last summer.
Go visit SkyWatch and se more of the sky from all over the world!

Stilig. Nå fikk jeg tips til nye fototurer du. Takk :-)
I wonder how 1930s cars made it up those slopes and round the hairpin bends! Wonderful, dramatic pictures, thanks for posting!
Beautiful skies, beautiful scenery, and beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing
Nå där är ett hörn av världen som jag måste få erfara själv nångång. Bara nån annan kör. Jag är helt vimmelkantig av beundran för landskapet och de här undebara fotografierna. Nu har du slagit alla rekord!
Breathtaking--both the view and the road.
That view would be worth every mile of that narrow road!
Everyone should be sure to enlarge the images - awesome!

Wow, some daring curving roads! Reminding me of my mother's hometown. I love seeing these Norway sceneries. It is so green with beautiful mountains. Best wishes.
