Great and dramatic pictures of Nasturtiums. They are a gardener's dream, virtually carefree once established. Snails don't seem to be interested in them. - Cheers.
Hello my friend, Val, these are wonderful macro shots. I am very partial to bright colors and a great combination of yellow and orange! Have a great day.
The focus on the details of the petals is striking. A great shade of red - my nasturtium are yellow and orange. And have been eaten by our resident ground hog, whom we may try to catch today.
That first image is so wild, up close like that. It gives such a different look at the flower!Love the 2nd photo too. I do believe these are edible, nasturtiums. Spirithelpers
Vibrant color of nasturtiums and great close in shots. I love the way they look and I also like the peppery taste that the nasturtium flowers add to a salad. I've had people tease me for putting flowers in my salads but nasturtiums are meant to be edible.
Valkyrien, I have never looked at a nasturtium that closely before! The fringes are simply incredible!!! You do know, of course, that they are edible - lovely in a salad, and the flowers can be made into jelly for your toast in the winter!

Flotte blomkarsebilder!

Specially the first macro is a beauty. I love the combination of clear yellow and the flaming red.
