The picture is from a little stream I call Mystic River, in Oslo. The name is of course stolen from the movie "Mystic River" - but also the name describes the location; a hidden little waterfall where I have taken a lot of these dark pictures. Not many know of the stream, or they walk by not knowing the beauty they miss!
In this picture the sun broke through the wilderness of branches, and touched this stone for a short while!

I really like the idea of little-known places, especially if there's water there. Nice!

Very serene image!
You caught the light just right.
It looks very peaceful! And the water is so incredibly clear! Great photo :)
It's nice to know about secret places! I am wondering how long you had to wait for just the right moment when the sunlight was on the rock!
When the sun touches life, it can be a special moment.
Your WW shot looks like a watercolor painting. What a unique shot with very haunting colors. Hi from Cal.
