Abbas Stugby og Camping - My World!
First of all, this is NOT where I live! This is in Sweden, nearby the city Torsby. But Sweden is also a bit of my world - I have been there so often! I went there last summer on "camping"! The correct would be living in a very nice cottage! A beautiful place with a big lake I just fell in love with! As you can see the sand around and in the lake is red - which created wonderfull colours in the environment.
I'm sure you will recognize the picture I use in my heading; taken one day walking along the big lake.

I love that third picture, with the shadow on the waters, and that's a unique sand color too...never seen red before. :)
What a beautiful lake -- no wonder you fell in love with the place. Betsy and I go back to a cabin on a mountain in Arkansas every year because we love it so much.
These photos are really terrific, and I like your idea of camping!
Wonderful and beautiful.
What a wonderful place. Natural wonder and peace.
The red sand, it indicates it's iron around there.
A canoe would be the perfect thing to have here during the summer and early fall season.
Herlige bilder.
Oh its paradise! :)
Herlige verdenen din - og litt mere riktig årstid enn mine bilder :) Nyelige bilder - og jeg kjenner bare lengselen kommer. Nååååå ønsker jeg meg vår :)
Men sove litt først ;) Ha ei god natt :)
it's a beautiful place to lay back and relax. I like the color of the lake too:)
Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos.
Have a great week.

No wonder you fell in love with this place, its just beautiful, so unusual having red sand. I like the waterlily leaves too. Pretty.
I love the shadows in the water!! And the red soil/sand gives the water a very unusual colour!
And I like the bud of the water lily! You usually see them as full flowers, so the bud makes you stop and look!
Thanks for sharing!
These are wonderful. At first I thought it was muddy water until I realized the water was so clear that it couldn't be. Amazing that the dirt is red below. It does make for colorful shots.
